Solution / From pigments to printing presses, symbols changed the way humans lived and provided new ways to cope with an unpredictable world.  My typo conference talks abouthow symbols serve as some of the best tools to overcome many language and cultural communication barriers.  It captures the current state of an ancient art: the use of pictures, symbols and graphic systems to convey information.
